the tree

I'm going to deviate from the schedule a little bit and make use of a few minutes of "free" time while waiting for dinner to come out of the oven. I intend to relax in front of the tv tonight and then get some proper sleep. I hope. 

I just finished putting up the Christmas tree all by myself. Like, everything. With no help. There was a moment of panic when I took the pieces of the tree out of the box and the legs/feet were missing but my husband found them in the box of lights. Whew. So he did help but a lot less than in previous years when he puts the lights on too. The kids sometimes help with the ornaments but the student isn't home for a couple more days and the other one seems busy.

They have cars.

The stockings are up as well and this cute little miniature house set up. I have a wreath, a swag, poinsettias real and faux so I am done. The body pain is being quite clear that I need to stop now, but it's a happy day in the end.
