What's in a name
Happy Sunday! We've been busy bees here, getting our steps in, growing our Pikmin, joining mushroom battles and waiting for packages. What's on tap today? Well, I am waiting for this item: <ready timer> The SSK M.2 NVME SATA SSD Enclosure Adapter, USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) to NVME PCI-E SATA M-Key/(B+M) Key Solid State Drive External Enclosure Aluminum Support UASP Trim for SSDs 2242/2260/2280.
First of all, it took me 37.17 seconds just to say that out loud so if it was my idea to go get one, and I had to tell my husband, "Can we order this SSK M.2 NVME SATA SSD Enclosure Adapter, USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) to NVME PCI-E SATA M-Key/(B+M) Key Solid State Drive External Enclosure Aluminum Support UASP Trim for SSDs 2242/2260/2280?" He would say his mandatory, "What?" I would have to repeat my line, "Can we order this SSK M.2 NVME SATA SSD Enclosure Adapter, USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) to NVME PCI-E SATA M-Key/(B+M) Key Solid State Drive External Enclosure Aluminum Support UASP Trim for SSDs 2242/2260/2280?" Then he would actually turn to me and say, "Which one now?" I would say, again, "Can we order this SSK M.2 NVME SATA SSD Enclosure Adapter, USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) to NVME PCI-E SATA M-Key/(B+M) Key Solid State Drive External Enclosure Aluminum Support UASP Trim for SSDs 2242/2260/2280?" I think I would pass out before I even get my request across properly.
But it was his idea, actually. I just asked if it was possible to get more than half a TB of hard drive space on the laptop because even if I had a bunch of flash drives I can use for back up, I still needed a good amount of space to make primary recordings and I guess free space for processing. His solution was to get a 2TB internal drive, get an enclosure with all the necessary types of cables (the SSK M.2 NVME SATA SSD Enclosure Adapter, USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) to NVME PCI-E SATA M-Key/(B+M) Key Solid State Drive External Enclosure Aluminum Support UASP Trim for SSDs 2242/2260/2280 comes with 2 kinds), transfer the entire drive's contents into the larger one and then put the old drive in the SSK M.2 NVME SATA SSD Enclosure Adapter, USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) to NVME PCI-E SATA M-Key/(B+M) Key Solid State Drive External Enclosure Aluminum Support UASP Trim for SSDs 2242/2260/2280 to now use as a back up external SSD. Isn't it genius? I also love copy and paste. That's the real genius, right there.
Of course, naming products that you sell should probably take less time than figuring out what to name your first born, which is why they're pretty straightforward just putting all the details into the name. Who am I to complain when I've basically trained my first born to name stuffed animals and Pokemon using simple alliteration. Cubby, the polar bear cub, Ziggy the Zigzagoon and the OG, Togo the Tiger. It's a miracle my children didn't end up as Dear Daughter Diana or Second Sibling Serena. Now that I think about it though, I kind of like those names.
Playlist Recommendation: You're So Vain, Carly Simon
